Happy New Moon in Capricorn, darlings! Shout out to all my Capricorn daddies, Saturnian sisters, and Non-binary Cap doms. š On Thursday, January 11th, early morning ET, the moon will enter the sign of Capricorn. Not only is this a 1.11 portal, but around the same time the moon goes into Capricorn, we will have an exalted Mars in Capricorn in a trine with Jupiter in Taurus. š„° The New Moon and Mars will be in the same sign as Capricorn, in a sextile between Saturn and Mars. Why is this significant?š¤ Saturn is in Pisces, and all this earth energy has no choice but to ground itself in maturity and wisdom that may have resulted from experiencing deep grief. Yikes.
The New Moon energy can allow many of us to get busy, take practical action on what we need to do, and increase focus and discipline, but Saturn in Pisces highlights that we better focus on the right things! š It's funny; we know Capricorn gets down to business, but there are moments when we may focus on the things we are not being called to worry about. Emotions and sensitivity can add moisture to the mud that may have hardened over time. Yes, being productive matters, but what you feel will be a massive factor in how we shift and change or mold things to create our new. āŗļø
Jupiter has turned direct and will be in a trine with Mars during the New Moon. Our ideals about society, religion, and community are coming together in a way that honors all and not just a select few. Mars may be in its Cap Daddy bag, but Capricorn is still a feminine sign. This is about creating change that we all can see and benefit from. šš½ How can listening to our emotions cultivate an authentic approach to our work and create collective unity? Please read the Full Moon in Cancer Blog, where I discussed how this energy inspires us to have new values and beliefs rooted in how we felt a few weeks ago. Can you smell it? It's called change! āØ
Speaking of femininity, we also have Venus at play here. Jupiter is in the Venusian sign of Taurus and has just turned direct. šø Venus in Sagittarius (Jupiterian sign) will soon enter Capricorn and trine Jupiter right before the next Full Moon. Chile.. Haha. In other words, the planets are coming together systematically to highlight our new values, better yet, a shift into new values, individually and collectively. With Venus in the picture, it's asking what is stable and secure. What is peaceful? What is beautiful or luxurious? What is the best? Our desires for something better have found a practical way of materializing. š
This New Moon in Capricorn is setting up for our Full Moon in Leo in the next few weeks. Now that we know that we can have everything we want and work toward it in a practical way, the Leo energy will make sure you know your power and believe that you deserve it! š The Full Moon in Leo will be in a t-square to Jupiter, only amplifying the energy of highlighting how we create the life we want through Venusian themes. Now, the New Moon will also be in the third decan. The third decan represents the last 10 degrees of a sign. The last 10 degrees of Capricorn can highlight feminine entrepreneurship, a culmination of material resources, dependability, greed, shadows of ego, vanity, and pride. š¤ This means there is so much massive potential to create something beautiful worldwide. However, those still operating in their shadow may be prone to destructive behaviors like theft or deception in relationships and business. Yes, it's giving 7 of swords! Haha. Even though the latter may be possible, the primary focus is creating change. Remember, whether it's yourself or others, acknowledge the cracks in the foundation. How are you making change for yourself, your career, and your community?
Be well,
D.
