Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. Happy Full Moon in Virgo, darlings! The Moon entered the sign of Virgo on February 24th and will stay there till the morning of February 26th. We are officially in Pisces season, which makes this a happy balance of resting and relaxation and being productive in a way where we may be channeling ideas that we will start to work toward when the time is right. However, if you feel your energy is telling you to create things quickly, make sure you have a plan first! In other words, slow down and get your ducks in a row before you take off! For example, I've been thinking about our Full Moon newsletter for a while. However, Pisces season has invited me to a lot of sleep and dreamland activity, encouraging my creativity and giving me unique insight to share with the collective. After all, we need more time to look at the details because we also have Venus square Jupiter under this Full Moon.
The Full Moon in Virgo with Venus in Aquarius squaring Jupiter in Taurus invites us to reassess before we take action to solidify our new reality. We want to look at the details to build something we want to see. Venusian themes may dictate our latest ideas on how we want to live, what we expect from society, and how we plan to work toward it practically! This is an excellent time to listen to your body and what it needs. Clean or declutter your space or your car. Meditate, rest, plan, organize, and absorb content and information that positively support your growth. These are all significant initiatives to ensure you get the most out of this Full Moon. Take the weekend off and Monday, too. It is time to clear out the old and stagnant behaviors so we can genuinely live a life that honors our hearts. With the Moon in Virgo, we dream of new ways to cultivate abundance.
A golden opportunity with the Moon in Virgo invites us to consider what we need to nurture. The mutable Earth sign creates the security we seek through working hard, developing ourselves and our skill sets, and analyzing situations to promote growth. Overanalyzation leads to burnout and self-doubt, so please discern the difference. Virgo cleans and organizes to get their "mind right" and views the process of cleanliness as a ritual or way of regulating the self. When the Moon is in Virgo, we may be prone to self-criticism when it comes to our life's work, but instead of doing another deep dive on yourself for the fifty-eleventh time, embrace new systems or routines for yourself, especially if you feel that you would like to take things up a notch in terms of your life goals. If you want to get more done in a day, perhaps you need to wake up an hour earlier. Would you like to save more money? Cut back on the daily $10 lattes and cancel app subscriptions you have not used in the last three months. Virgo does well with self-introspection as long as it also leads to successfully learning from mistakes without judgment.
While the Moon is in Virgo, journaling would be a great activity. Reflect on the opportunities that have presented you with the moments of releasing who and what was broken and the positive outcomes it has brought you. Embrace the wisdom of life lessons, and fall in love with the new things you know! Examine when it was hard to accept a particular result while acknowledging the peace of relinquishing control. Explore new ways to care for your body with herbs, better eating, and new exercise routines. Expand on ways to use all your talents and gifts to help navigate and achieve your destiny. The Full Moon in Virgo wants you to get in touch with your true self and to lay the hat down of who you had to be to survive. The timelines are shifting, and the level of freedom we can achieve with this shift has to be respected with our attention, softness, and dedication to be better than we were yesterday—step outside what you have considered the usual and embrace a new normal.
Best,
D.
