Full Moon 👑 in Leo: The Birth of the Royal Queen.

Updated: Feb 13, 2024

We have a beautiful Full Moon in the sign of Leo on Thursday, January 25th. This is our first Full Moon of 2024; get excited! ✨ We've discussed a few details about this particular Full Moon in the New Moon in Capricorn blog and its connection to not only women but specifically powerful women. Themes like women entrepreneurship, Venusian values, and Matriarchal change are front and center with this Full Moon.

We have Pluto officially in the sign of Aquarius, which is taking our personal and collective lives up a notch! Yes, shit is getting real! This Full Moon in Leo exudes royal blood, specifically Queen blood. I know. Why is the emphasis on blood? I don't know, it feels nice. Haha. It may have something to do with the fact that women have been sharing their blood, sweat, and tears about their lives, success, abuse, love, concerns, and lessons that are truly insightful and transformative if we've taken the time to sit back and listen. This proves that women are magical, powerful, intellectual, intense, nurturing, charming, brilliant, funny, sensual, and everything one should look for in a leader. Attributes like this help inspire and persuade people to be better versions of themselves, resulting in our collective circumstances shifting for the better. Venus has also entered Capricorn, and Jupiter is in Taurus. This may be the astrological version of the Vagina Monologues!

The Full Moon in Leo invites us to connect with our inner Empress as it takes place in the first decan of Leo. The first decan of Leo involves a lot of different energies that may be child-like, but too many scattered energies create the desire to get stable. The tarot card associated with Leo is the Strength card. The Strength card represents determination, willpower, and the resilience of the pure human spirit. It's a subtle reminder not to lead by using control but instead gently lead by using your positive attributes to, once again, inspire and persuade people for the better. The Full Moon in Leo may make some of us feel "show-offy," but hopefully, it's done in a way that creates more smiles than disruption. Meaning, talk your shit and be confident, but know that true royalty and wealth are never loud or tackily boastful.

It is a moment to release and let go in true Full Moon fashion; what needs to be removed will vary from person to person. If there were one thing that should be at the top of the list to relinquish, it would be fear. Fear of failure has served its purpose, now release. Fear of connection has served its purpose, now release. Fear of self-acceptance has served its purpose, now release. My personal favorite is fear of change. Leo reminds us not only to have courage but also that there is no reward in hiding your light or holding yourself back from your destiny. What's the point of holding on to the things blocking our path? Better yet, have you yet to learn that you deserve to be here and that your existence may be needed to show someone else the way? There are moments when we should address life with logic. This Full Moon in Leo is the perfect time to exercise mind over matter. Remember, life is short, but it can be sweet.

Blessings,

D.
