When we need to release what could be taking up the space from the blessings meant to come in, we have a remedy to the rescue! 🖤 Providing an easy-to-do banishing spell and banishing powder only made sense. Let's get into it! ✨

@calluslestrangers
First, I am BIG on cleansing ourselves before engaging in spiritual work. 🪄 For those of you who want to take it up a notch in releasing whatever person, place, or thing has been in your energy field for a long time, I highly recommend bathing in black salt (1/4 of a cup) and black walnut (1/2 of a cup) for a minimum of 15 minutes to remove or "cut" whoever or whatever has been leeching or attached to your energy. ✂️ Light some incense to cleanse your ingredients and a candle if you prefer. However, you MUST pray the entire time. For those of you who are big on calling back your energy, say something like this:
"I cut the ties that no longer serve me; may these bindings no longer deter me. I call back my ase that, with or without my permission, has gone astray. I call my power back to me, cleansed in divine light and love. May my blessings be released from up above." 🔮
If you do not own or have access to black salt or walnut, sea salt, and Florida water will do just fine. Cut up some limes four ways if you want a little more razzle-dazzle! 👁️
Now, let's get into the banishing spell!

🎈Balloon Banishing Spell:
What you'll need:
-Small piece of paper or post-it.
-Dragon's Blood Ink ( no, it is not real blood)
-A balloon
You can purchase a dragon's blood ink pen online, as its purpose helps to strengthen the power of our spell when we write with it. However, a regular pen or pencil will work. ✍️Write down the person's name or the memory you want to release on paper. It must be a piece, as we will insert this in the balloon. Once complete, put the paper inside the balloon and fill it with the appropriate air. Think or visualize yourself releasing what you wrote for every exhale. 🌬️ Tie it with intention, take it to a place that feels right, and release it! It is up to you if you would like to watch it float away or recite the previous incantation I shared with you or your prayer. Spell done! ✨
For those of you who would like to create a simple banishing powder with the ingredients from your kitchen, let's get into it!

🤓 Friendly reminder: I find it best to be clean and light some incense and a simple white candle when creating our powders and oils. Also, I encourage your ingredients to be as organic or natural as possible. However, as someone from Brooklyn, I know firsthand that you gotta use what you have when you're in a pickle!
What you'll need:
-Black Pepper
-Cayenne Pepper
-Black Salt
-Sea Salt
-Cinnamon
-Sulfur
You want to grind these ingredients together! If you don't already, now would be an excellent time to get a pestle and mortar, my little alchemist. ⚗️ As always, feel free to put your intentions into this thing! If you want to turn it into an oil, get some jojoba or castor oil (olive oil if you must) pour it over the powder, put it in a bottle, and shake it profusely! If it is too thick with the castor oil, jojoba will flow easier. 😉
The powder can be sprinkled on the clothes or belongings of the individual if you would like them removed from your life. 🚮 If you know they are coming over, you can sprinkle it on the floor so they may walk and step over it. The oil is great for anointing candles. However, the powder and oil can be used in banishing spellwork as they intensify your ritual. 🔌
Will you try this out? Let me know how it goes!
Besos,
D.
